2020 took place at the RDA Hall in Rathdrum on Sunday, January 12. New members are always welcome, family group membership also very welcome. Junior beginners must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
There is no cost or fees for membership of the band. Tuition, instruments and uniforms will be provided to members, but must be returned on leaving the band.
Practice sessions are due to take place on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a cup of tea. There are also plans for three other advisory clinics during the year. a great best man’s speech or stand out with that Powerpoint presentation at work.
You can join Wicklow Toastmasters upstairs in the Bridge Tavern on Thursday, January 16, at 7.30 p.m. and watch members as they demonstrate how Toastmasters helps people overcome their fear of public speaking and become a skilled leader in a variety of ways. No speaking required on the night.
Entry is free and light refreshments will be served. There is also a special membership offer available that night only – sign up and pay for membership till June 2020 for the price of €50, reduced form the normal price of €75. soon as possible for a presentation for the historical society early this year. They include materials, tuition, tea or coffee and lunch and participants will make and bring home a basket on the day. Courses cost €85 and booking is essential.
A deposit of €50 is required to secure a spot. Places are limited. Courses are available on Saturday, February 15, Sunday, February 23, Sunday, March 1, Wednesday, March 25, and Sunday, April 12.
