Indoor football blitz

-

A girls and boys indoor football blitz for third- and fourth-class will take place on the following Thursdays in January: 16th, 23rd and 30th in Shoreline, Greystones.

There are three time slots per day: 10.15pm to 11.15am, 11.30am to 12.30pm and 12.45pm to 1.45pm. This is a non-competitive blitz with the emphasis on developing skills and encouraging the children to play football.

These are not mixed teams. It is a seven-a-side blitz, with goalkeepers. Scoring is by goals only. Schools are allowed to send more than one boys team and one girls team but please be aware that they might not be accommodated in the same time slot, or even the same day!

If your school has any young whistlers trained, they are very welcome to come along and referee games. Please let Gary McGillycuddy know if you will be sending young whistlers. Please confirm your school’s attendance, with how many boys and girls teams and your preferred time and date by Monday, January 13, by email to Ronan Keddy or Gary McGillycuddy or WhatsApp (086-8729927). Looking forward to seeing many of you in attendance.
