WELCOME BACK

We would like to welcome our staff and students back to school after the Christmas Break and to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.

JUNIOR GAELTACT TRIP

The new school term got off to an amazing start with a group of 24 First and second year students heading to the Gaeltacht in Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Waterford for three days last week for our annual Gaeltacht trip. The students had classes in the mornings followed by sports, a céilí and excursions in the afternoons and evenings.

The trip was a resounding success and the boys had a great time practising their ‘cúpla focal’ and they came home with more. We now have 24 new Irish ambassadors of Gaeilge in Arklow CBS.

The students were accompanied by Ms King and Ms Kinsella and many thanks to both teachers for all their hard work and dedication.

This Wednesday at 7.30 our annual information evening on Transition and fifth year will take place. Here, parents/guardians of our current third and transition year students will gain valuable information about the year their son is progressing into.
