-

My happy place is definitely at home with my family and horses. Also, the old owners and trainers stand at Cheltenham when we have a runner there.

What sparked your love of racing?

I loved all sports, but my dad brought me racing quite a bit as a kid. My mum helped me get going on ponies quite young and the two interests merged.

What horse put you on the map?

Native Jack winning the Cross Country Chase at the 2006 Cheltenham Festival was a big help.

Who is your favourite horse?

Hard to pick a favourite. We have a lot of nice horses in the yard to win races with, so I am looking forward to seeing them develop

Describe the feeling of training your first winner? How do you deal with dips in form?

In the past I have changed routines and ultimately made things worse so now I just keep doing what works well for me and be patient

Outside of racing, what is your favourite sporting moment?

up there

What is the hidden gem of Wicklow?

Glenmalure Lodge is in a beautiful area and is a great hideaway when needed

When you think of your home what immediately springs to mind?
