Pieta House fundraiser
Glencormac United recently set a up a fun fundraiser for Pieta House in honour of Patrick (Paddy) King, his sister Fiona and the late Dean Norgrove. People were asked to walk, run or cycle 5km, donate €5 and nominate another five to do the same and an ambitious task of reaching €1,000. The people of the community once again got behind the appeal and it was fantastic to see both individuals and families getting out over the weekend and raising money for such a worthwhile cause. By the end of this weekend, €2,160 had been donated and nominations will continue till the end of May. Well done, everyone.
