Fires, campfires and disposable barbecues can be extremely dangerous to our natural habitats. When used in woodland or in upland heath areas and placed directly on the ground, they can cause wildfires which pose significant damage to wildlife and the environment.
This weekend, a native oak was thoughtlessly damaged in Glendalough when a fire was lit against it. Please help us protect wildlife, do not light fires, use gas barbecues only.
