IRREPLACEABLE
Dvora Waysman’s wonderful and warm article on her mother for Mother’s Day (May 7) sent a dagger into my heart.
I lost my mother, who did not complete her 36th year, when I was 12. She was one of those rare individuals at that time in India, a highly intelligent, independent and principled woman who loved her husband with all her soul and so their two sons were her most precious gifts. We always felt it. My older brother and I adored her.
