Regarding the wonderful news that Jerusalem Post journalist Greer Fay Cashman has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the B’nai B’rith World Center, please allow my heartfelt appreciation to be recorded as one who learns from, chuckles over and commiserates with situations depicted via the many topics Greer has focused on over the years.

Cashman certainly has an encyclopedic knowledge of the multitude of personalities appearing in Israel, and indeed world-wide. She has the knack of bringing information to the fore in an entirely digestible form.

Surely she should also be awarded an honorary doctorate from some far-sighted university?

Greer, you have my vote! Congratulations!
