Want to have a royal tea? The British tea brand Twinings, which has a Royal Warrant of Appointment, introduces a new tea timer, together with new flavors. The tea timer lets you know how long you need to steep the tea (black, green or white teas) and it is a great conversation gadget. I love green tea but do not like vanilla flavor in tea. Blue Heart chain stores import international comfort shoe brands and have presented a sweet collection of warm slippers for men and women. An Israeli breakfast will always include, next to the salad and eggs, also a few spreads. Tzabar embraced the idea and introduced the Tzabar Deli – a collection of fresh cheeses with spreads, such as labneh with roasted peppers (delicious), humus (hot) and roasted eggplant (tasty). As well, with these cheeses, the company introduced a few spreads and pastes.
Very elegant
This winter, Segal Fashion introduced perfect sport jackets by Italian fashion house Corleone that are simply gorgeous. The longish light-wool jackets come in classic shades of camel, navy blue, black and grey, and the cut is very flattering for all ages. International cosmetic brand Garnier added a night cream to their BIO line, which is based on lavender oil and hyaluronic acid. The new vegan formula brings back moisture and suppleness during night sleep. Excellent for thirty-something women. NIS 54.90
Sweet and fragrant
Binyamina Winery re-launched their liqueurs collection with new labels. Binyamina has been producing alcoholic drinks since 1957. Their liqueurs are excellent for mixing cocktails. They are delicious, kosher and vegan friendly. There are eight flavors: Amaretto, peach, banana, vishniak (cherry), triple-sec, limoncello, crème de cassis and chocolate. We found they were also very tasty straight. NIS 55.
Spray it on
A-Derma specializes in treating extra sensitive and irritated skin. Their new Ex-omega spray for irritated dry skin is perfect during the cold months when skin becomes very dry from heating. The spray makes application quick and even. The organic ingredients include vitamin B3, Rhealba oats and no parabens. Great for babies and seniors. NIS 139, available in pharmacies.
Way to start a morning
If you like to start your mornings with granola, try the new one by Free. Sacara opened a pop-up store dedicated to Purim in the Zahav (Golden) shopping mall in Rishon Lezion. The store will be open until March 18. The Purim happy store will offer makeup palettes, body and face paints, artificial scars, fake blood, glitter, faux tattoos, colored eye contacts, hair accessories, hats and much more.
What fun! There are videos with instructions and many looks to choose from. The prices are very affordable and the experience is lots of fun. Look for the store on the first floor of the shopping mall.
Not just any beer
Celebrating 100 years of importing and marketing alcohol in the country, Hakerem Wine & liquor launched special editions of the Israeli craft beers Malka, Negev and Herzl that were aged in Glenfiddich casks. The limited edition beers in 750 ml. bottles will only be available for a few months under the names Strong Scotch Ale (Malka), American Barley Wine (Herzl) and Imperial Porter (Negev). Prices range from NIS 65 to NIS 75. Available in liquor stores.
