Marinado boutique butchery from Ein Gev in the North teamed up with a group of chefs and created a delectable collection of holiday meals. Adapting favorite family recipes and using prime cuts of superior locally grown meat, the chefs created a collection that will win the hearts and stomachs of every one of your guests, guaranteed. All you have to do is follow easy instructio­ns – the cuts are already seasoned and ready to cook. I loved Rotem Lieberson’s sirloin roast in a marinade of pomegranat­e puree and maple (2 kg. at NIS 219 per kg. will feed at least eight people), which I only had to sear for a few minutes and then place in the oven for half an hour. I also enjoyed Limor Laniado’s veal chops in a ragout of plums and caramelize­d onion, in a family recipe from Syria. (NIS 129 per kg. Most cuts weigh about 2 kg., enough for eight to 10 diners). The cooking instructio­ns are written on the package, and it only takes a few minutes to cook a perfect main dish. My kind of holiday. Available at Marinado stores around the country.
