I read the September 16 cover story (“Unbroken Familial Bonds”) with much interest, as it struck very close to home. My wife Jane is a convert, as are two of our children from her first marriage. We subsequently adopted two boys who were put up for adoption by their non-Jewish birth parents. We converted both of them as well.
