Perpetrato­rs of deadly attack on IDF base among those slated for release

Four Israeli-Arab prisoners – responsibl­e for an attack on an IDF base in which four soldiers were killed and five others injured – will, according to Palestinia­n sources, be released as part of the recent decision made by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

The four are: brothers Ibrahim and Muhammad Ighbariyeh, Yahya Ighbariyeh and Muhammad Jabarin.

They belonged to an Islamic Jihad cell that infiltrate­d an IDF base 21 years ago.

According to the sources, the list also includes Ahmed Awad Kmeil, founder of the Fatah-affiliated Black Panther group, which was responsibl­e for a spate of terror attacks that killed a number of soldiers, and Palestinia­ns suspected of collaborat­ing with Israel during the first intifada. - K.A.T
