One of Israel’s largest music gatherings, the annual Tamar Festival, is held over four days during the intermediate days of Succot in various stunning locations near the Dead Sea. The festival features some of Israel’s greatest musicians as well as music from around the world. This year’s stellar lineup includes Ester Rada, Marina Maximilian, Kutiman with Princess Shaw, Dudu Tasa, Balkan Beat Box, Barry Sakharof, Mosh Ben Ari, Omer Adam, Lucille Crew, Avraham Tal, Hatikva 6, Infected Mushroom and others.
The festival takes place at three venues: the Kikar Sdom Villages, the Masada National Park, which will host many of the sunrise concerts and the beautiful lawns of the Kibbutz Ein Gedi Botanical Park.
Besides music, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities in nature such as hiking or group tours.
