Two big musical acts announced on Tuesday that they will be joining the already impressive summer concert lineup in Israel.

Canadian singer songwriter Alanis Morissette will be performing in Rishon Lezion in July and British electronic music band Clean Bandit will be taking the stage in the same venue in June.

Morissette, a beloved figure on the alternative rock scene, will be holding a concert on July 30 at the Rishon Lezion Live Park. The singer has performed in Israel multiple times before, including in 2012 and in 2000. She is best known for her slew of hit songs, including “Ironic,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “You Oughta Know” and “You Learn.” Throughout her almost 30-year career, Morissette has been nominated for 14 Grammy awards and taken home seven.

Morissette’s last Israel show was in 2012, just a few weeks after a cease-fire took hold in Operation Pillar of Defense. Despite pressure to cancel, the performer remained defiant, and also spent several days touring the country, including a stop at the Western Wall.

Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday afternoon via Ticketmaster at tmisrael. co.il and *9964, and will start at NIS 285.

A few weeks before Morissette takes the stage, the British electro-pop group Clean Bandit will hit the same venue with what is sure to be one long dance party.

The group, responsible for the smash hits “Rockabye,” Symphony,” “Rather Be” and “Real Love” will play in Israel on June 26 at the Rishon Lezion Live Park. The band has been together for 10 years, and many of their songs have become huge global dance hits. Their song “Rockabye” has been viewed close to two billion times on YouTube since it was released in 2016 and the group won a Grammy for “Rather Be” in 2015.

This will be Clean Bandit’s first-ever performance in Israel, and will come amid an extensive European tour.

Tickets for the show are already on sale via zappa-club.co.il or *9080 and range from NIS 199 to NIS 269 for early bird tickets.
