On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Hadar Mall conducted a unique project with the students of the Ort Beit Arava School in Jerusalem and atrisk youth, in which a hair care complex was set up. The beauty complex operated on Thursday, and included hair styling treatments. ORT high school students were at-risk youth who are now studying to prepare them for finding work outside school.

For International Women’s Day, L’Oreal Israel conducted a survey on sexual harassment in public spaces. The survey found that: 50% of women in Israel experienced at least one sexual harassment experience; 79% said there were other people who witnessed the incident; 73% said onlookers did not interfere or ignored it; and 58% of onlookers said if they would have had training or tools to help it would have significantly increased the likelihood of them interfering. The survey was conducted as part of the launch of L’Oreal Paris’s global training program to deal with sexual harassment in public spaces.
