The virtuosic duo

Composer, pianist and conductor Gil Shohat, hosts young virtuosic pianist Dorel Golan in a special concert for two pianos.

The enriched concert – led by Shohat – is part of the renowned series Unforgettable performance of musical masterpieces – and vice versa.

The concert program will consist of masterpiece recordings explained and dissected by Shohat, as well as performances of fast, difficult and crazy piano works that require virtuosic abilities, performed live by two pianists. Shohat will analyze and explain the works, comparing performances by Evgeny Kissin, Yefim Bronfman and Martha

Argerich, Also in the program: Tchaikovsky Concerto No. 1 for piano and orchestra, The Seasons; études by Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Kapustin and more.
