Charge d’affaires to India Rony Yedidia-Clein (second from right), attended International Day of Yoga weekend in the ashram at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. While there, participants took part in daily yoga and meditation sessions, a special Ganga Dussehra Aarti ceremony, a sacred Yagya ceremony and many other activities within the ashram.

Yedidia-Clein met with H. H. Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, president of Parmarth Niketan, on a wide range of topics – from environmental preservation to water conservation and protection to Israel’s pilot collaboration with India to establish Agricultural Centers of Excellence throughout the nation. Yedidia-Clein presented Sarasawatiji with a book, by Seth M. Siegel.
