Law firm S. Horowitz & Co. marks 100 years
The law firm S. Horowitz & Co. recently celebrated 100 years since its founding.
At an internal event, the 100th anniversary logo of was unveiled as well as the firm’s charter for the coming years, which emphasizes the firm’s core values. The charter was signed by all the firm’s partners, lawyers and other staff members. The firm’s office is now decorated with the flags and logo marking the 100th anniversary.
At the event, organizers screened an exciting and surprising greeting from retired Supreme Court justice Zvi Tal, who was a judge in some of Israel’s most important cases, such as the Demjanjuk Trial and the Bankers’ Trial, as well as chairing the Tal committee on recruiting yeshiva students to the IDF.
Tal, who died on Tuesday at the age of 94, was a legal specialist at S. Horowitz & Co. in Jerusalem, and worked for the firm for a little over 10 years.
At the opening of the events, the partners announced that they would award NIS 100,000 to mark the 100 years with 10 scholarships for law students who are unable to finance their studies.
In their congratulations, the senior partners, Advs. Shuki Horesh, Alex Hertman and Tal Band, said: “Horowitz will continue to lead the legal process in Israel in the near and distant future.”
