SHUFERSAL JUMPS ON BOARD WITH ISRAEL’S OLYMPIANS

Shufersal recently signed an agreement to sponsor Israel’s Olympic delegations for the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Games. Under the agreement, Shufersal will allocate NIS 1.6 million to the Israeli Olympic Committee over four years to assist the delegations and will also reward individual athletes for their achievements. The signing event, which took place at Shufersal’s headquarters, was attended by Shufersal Chairman Yaki Vadmani and CEO Itzik Aberhahn, as well as Israel Olympic Committee Chairman Igal Carmi and SecretaryGeneral Gili Lustig. ‘Shufersal is proud to support Israeli Olympic sports and sees this as a national mission,’ said Aberhahn. ‘As the largest and leading retail group in Israel, Shufersal is connected to the values that characterize the athletes of the Israeli Olympic delegation, including commitment, striving for excellence, achievement, competitiveness and national pride.
