WELCOMING MOMS
More than 100 Jewish women from the US, UK, Canada and France arrived on Tuesday as part of the campaign by the international Jewish women’s organization Momentum to strengthen the Jewish identity of Diaspora Jews. The organization’s flagship program, an eight-day trip to Israel, was canceled last year due to the pandemic. The trip includes an emotional meet up between women – some mothers to lone IDF soldiers – and their children, who will see them for the first time since the pandemic’s outbreak.
