Rivlin travels in ‘anonymity’ alongside Shin Bet

-

Reuven Rivlin, whose term as president concluded on Wednesday, was able to walk around the country for a number of hours unnoticed thanks to a disguise provided by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

The Shin Bet released a photo on Wednesday of the outgoing president disguised with a beard, wig and large coat accompanied by a number of its agents.

“For a few hours, the president enjoyed absolute anonymity alongside Shin Bet agents who are well trained in covert work for ‘protecting and not being seen,’” the agency said.

As Rivlin prepared to leave office on Wednesday, the Shin Bet thanked him for years of substantial action for the benefit of the State of Israel.
