FARES MICUE
These two series include the same elements. I share feelings playing with a human figure (myself), botanical elements (plants and flowers), and the use of selected colors. Fares Micue is a self-taught fine art/ conceptual Spanish photographer. She started photography as a hobby back in 2009 after discovering the photography site Flickr.
Little by little, that hobby started to take more and more of her time until she realized almost six years later that what has started as just entertainment was now her biggest passion, and she wanted to use her images to transmit and share stories and lessons.
As a self-portrait photographer, she uses her perception of reality and her thoughts to create stories in each of her images.
Her work is characterized by the use of simple backgrounds and saturated colors, as well as the use of characteristic props like balloons and botanical elements (flowers, leaves, trees, etc.),
Her images have a very strong conceptual element, and she uses the power of colors to further express her ideas.
