Nell’era del digitale e dell’intelligenza artificiale Studiolabo, deus ex machina del Brera Design District, ha scelto il tema Be human: progettare con empatia. La decisione, consolidata dopo un confronto con la Fondazione Empatia Milano, ha determinato la scelta del vincitore del premio Lezioni di design, assegnato a Constance Gennari, fondatrice di The socialite family, progetto che mette in relazione il design con la vita delle famiglie. Novità del 2018, Souvenir Milano è la prima collezione dedicata alla città affidata a dodici designers (Brera Design Apartment, via Palermo 1). Tra i progetti speciali, l’interpretazione al femminile del logo di Timberland di Elena Salmistraro ( Don’t call me… Dafne) in piazza XXV aprile, un focus sul design brasiliano (Spazio Edit, via Maroncelli 12), il salotto da viaggio Corallo di Cristina Celestino, che ha legato il suo lavoro a un tram storico che girerà per il distretto.
In the age of artificial intelligence Studiolabo, deus ex machina of the Brera Design District, has chosen the theme Be Human: Designing with Empathy. The decision, taken after consultation with the Fondazione Empatia Milano, has determined the choice of the winner of the Lezioni di Design prize, awarded to Constance Gennari, founder of The Socialite Family, a project that connects design with the life of families. A new attraction of 2018, Souvenir Milano is the first collection devoted to the city, put together by twelve designers (Brera Design Apartment, Via Palermo 1). Among the special projects, Elena Salmistraro’s feminine interpretation for Timberland’s logo ( Don’t Call Me… Dafne) in Piazza XXV Aprile, a focus on Brazilian design (Spazio Edit, Via Maroncelli 12-14), and Cristina Celestino’s living room Corallo on wheels, which will travel around the district on board the tram 1928.
