Terza edizione per Doppia firma, dialogo tra pensiero progettuale e alto artigianato promosso da Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte e Living, il magazine di interiors, design e lifestyle del Corriere della Sera. Protagonisti di quest’anno sono i maestri d’arte del territorio di Venezia e del Veneto che, insieme con designer internazionali, hanno dato vita a una collezione di 13 opere, esposte a Villa Mozart, utilizzando materiali e tecniche quali vetro, ceramica, porcellana, marmo e foglia d’oro, legno, merletto, broccato, argento, serigrafia e filatura. Dal 14 al 30 settembre, gli oggetti realizzati saranno alla Fondazione Cini di Venezia nell’ambito della mostra Homo faber. Crafting a more human future.
Organized for the third time this year, the project called Doppia Firma presents a dialogue between designers and artisans and is promoted by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and Living, the magazine of interiors, design and lifestyle published by Il Corriere della Sera. The protagonists on this occasion are the skilled artisans of the Venice and Veneto region who, working with designers from a range of countries, have produced a collection of 13 works that will be put on show at Villa Mozart, utilizing materials and techniques like glass, ceramics, porcelain, marble and gold leaf, wood, lace, brocade, silver, silk-screening and spinning. From 14 to 30 September, the objects they have created will be put on display at the Fondazione Cini in Venice as part of the exhibition Homo Faber: Crafting a More Human Future.
