Since 2017, Seehof Nature Retreat has undergone a radical transformation, which has elevated the structure to four-star superior, organized with the taste and long-term vision of the owners. The size that opens at the entrance is unusual, capable of maintaining the right link with the South Tyrolean spirit thanks to the choice of materials, but without giving up the selection of details that have a more Mediterranean influence. The redevelopment was conducted by noa* studio, based between Bolzano and Berlin and directed by the two founders Lukas Rungger and Stefan Rier, heirs of the South Tyrolean architectural tradition of Matteo Thun and Hugo Demetz. Starting from the desire to enhance the peculiar connection with the surrounding nature, for a stay experience that guarantees moments of absolute calm, as stated by the concept of the hotel itself, we have chosen to work on the suggestion of the stately home, with earth-colored plaster and a horizontal wooden structure. Not least, in the interior the use of wood, linen, rocks, light colors has given a delicate accent, which was then joined by the choice of inserting the copper pipes, present throughout the building, on some details. recall of the tools used in cultivation. To confirm this approach, there has been the creation of a wellness center that fits harmoniously with the surrounding landscape and enhances the panorama of the lake with large windows and architectures designed to continuously convey the feeling of being in a large park. From the main structure the area can be reached by crossing large spaces, once imagined to host a bowling alley, and today instead cleverly thought out for comfortable internal relaxation areas that guarantee the use of the SPA throughout the year. An elegant wet area is added to the outdoor swimming pool which, between the sauna and Turkish bath, an emotional shower guarantees full satisfaction in terms of relaxation. For the bravest, the sensation of a bath in the lake is an intoxicating sensation, an immersion in nature that refreshes the spirit and body.
