Travel retail, when luxury lands at the airport
Luxury boutiques, personalised service, design interiors. Travel retail offers customers a new shopping experience dominated by sophisticated creations, selected accessories and valuable jewellery for lovers of pure luxury. Many international names in fashion and luxury jewellery have decided to open sales points inside international airports: Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Hermès, Salvatore Ferragamo and Tiffany. And we could continue with Bally, Chopard, Ferrari, Hugo Boss, Loro Piana, Montblanc, Porsche Design and Tod’s. Among the numerous boutiques present in Italian and international airports, “Avion Luxury” has selected several, including Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Paul Smith, Prada, Burberry, Bulgari and Cartier, that must be visited to experience and understand the styles and trends of the moment. Situated at Shenzhen Airport, the Salvatore Ferragamo boutique welcomes customers with a special atmosphere of exclusive elegance, in a store designed with great style. The store sells the new collections of accessories that reflect the exquisitely modern and sophisticated style of the Maison. This year the Armani Group opened its first Giorgio Armani travel retail boutique in Europe at Milan-Malpensa Airport, located in the new Extra Schengen zone at Terminal 1. The new boutique covers over 100 square metres and offers women’s and men’s clothing and accessories, fragrances, eyewear and jewellery. The interior of the store has been designed by Giorgio Armani and his team of architects and the furnishings
