Supercars. The queens of luxury
Thankfully, many of the best new products for 2015 in the supercar sector involve significant developments or even radical choices from which there is no turning back. This is the case of Bentley, which in one stroke manages to stun the world with two radical changes: the largest and most luxurious SUV of all time, and even a diesel version. Called Bentayga, it promises to give Range Rover and Lamborghini a run for their money, and not just because of the name it bears. In terms of equipment it wants for nothing; the engine is stunning and will be available in a W12 twin-turbo version, with the promise of hybrid plug-in versions and, as hinted, even diesel, and guaranteeing a body with levels of elegance and equipment never seen before with this distinguished brand. Another stunning model is the Vision Gran Turismo from Bugatti, an important star of the last Frankfurt Motor Show for having brought this unique and innovative gem. Above all it is a car built as an exercise in style, which demonstrates Bugatti’s ability to realise the dreams of many, designing it firstly for the Playstation video game franchise “Gran Turismo“, and then putting it on the road, as a demonstration only. Inspired by the Bugatti Type 57 Tank, winner of Le Mans in the thirties, this model is in reality little more than a vision of the next generation of supercars which, with the Chiron, will be revealed to the world from next March. The near future is also an unmissable topic for Porsche with the Concept Mission E, which is able to deliver the equivalent of 600 hp
