SOLLECITATI DA NUMEROSE MAIL che ci chiedevano come fare per dismettere la bandiera belga o olandese a causa della recente abolizione dei registri “light” del diporto che le due nazioni europee avevano istituito, siamo andati a fondo nel problema. Abbiamo simulato di possedere una barca battente bandiera olandese che aveva urgenza di cambiare bandiera e passare al registro italiano. Primo scoglio insormontabile. I documenti devono essere prodotti tutti in originale cartaceo, ma noi avevamo tutti i documenti in copia digitale, un classico PDF. Altro problema burocratico riguardante il famoso tasto rosso per il salvataggio che possiedono i VHF attuali. Per avere il patentino che abilita a schiacciare il tasto rosso, avremmo dovuto partecipare a un corso: “la prima sessione disponibile è tra due mesi”. Costo?
Ridicolmente alto con grande perdita di tempo.
Ci hanno anche allertato che la barca sarebbe stata soggetta a un accurato controllo da parte di un ente certificatore, che avrebbe comportato alaggio e varo della barca.

Another problem was related to the red rescue button of VHF systems. Well, these systems require a special license. Unfortunately, however, the first course session available is in two months. Not to mention the cost, ridiculously expensive for such a big waste of time.
Last but not least, the boat must be subject to a thorough inspection by a certification body, involving hauling and launching operations.
