LE VENDITE DI BARCHE NEGLI STATI UNITI hanno raggiunto il massimo da 13 anni nel 2020, +12% rispetto al 2019, come conseguenza anche del riscoperto interesse per le attività all’aperto. Lo riferisce la National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). Per la prima volta in più di un decennio sono aumentati i neofiti, che hanno contribuito alla crescita delle barche più piccole, spesso per i corsi d’acqua locali e utilizzate dalla pesca agli sport acquatici. Le vendite di barche da pesca d’acqua dolce, spesso ricercate per la loro versatilità e per i prezzi d’ingresso, rappresentano il 50% delle nuove barche a motore vendute nel 2020. I diportisti provengono da tutti i ceti sociali, background finanziari e aree del Paese. Le vendite di barche dovrebbero rimanere a livelli alti anche nel 2021, perché produttori stanno ancora consegnando un consistente arretrato di ordini del 2020.

This was reported by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). For the first time in more than a decade, nautical beginners have increased, contributing to the growth of the segment of small-sized boats, often used in local waterways, for fishing activities and water sports.

Sales of freshwater fishing boats, usually appreciated for their versatility and entry prices, account for 50% of new powerboats sold in 2020. Boat owners come from all social classes, financial bachgrounds and regions of the country. Boat sales are expected to remain at high levels in 2021 as well, as manufacturers are still delivering a an important 2020 order backlog.
