Era il luglio del 1941 quando, dopo durissimi test, fu affidata a Willys-overland la commessa per produrre 16.000 fuoristrada Willys MB, evoluzione del prototipo MA e antenata di tutte le Jeep che, nei successivi 80 anni, avrebbero percorso strade e piste di tutto il mondo. Tenendo fede alla mission originale di 80 anni fa, il marchio Jeep è tuttora il leader indiscusso nella tecnologia 4x4. Per celebrare la storica ricorrenza, Jeep lancia lo speciale allestimento 80° Anniversario per tutta la sua gamma (a fianco, Jeep Compass). Si tratta di un allestimento unico e raffinato, con cerchi dedicati neri lucidi in tinta Granite Crystal, pacchetto Full Led e targhette dedicate con l’immagine della storica Jeep Willys MB e il numero 80. L’80° anniversario segna anche il ritorno del marchio Jeep nel segmento dei pick-up. Il nuovo Jeep Gladiator (nella foto in alto) è 100% pick-up ed è disponibile in Italia nell’allestimento Overland e, in fase di lancio, nell’esclusiva Launch Edition. Il propulsore è il Multijet V6 da 3,0 litri con 264 CV di potenza e 600 Nm di coppia, omologato Euro 6D-final, che garantisce prestazioni, potenza ed elasticità. La configurazione è la tradizionale americana a doppia cabina, con cassone in acciaio da 153 cm. Gladiator è il pick-up Jeep più performante di sempre e in grado di soddisfare gli stili di vita più attivi. Tra i contenuti specifici di tecnologia e sicurezza, si segnala la telecamera frontale per la guida sicura su strada e in fuoristrada.

To celebrate its birthday, Jeep presents the special “80th Anniversary” series, for all its range (next, the Jeep Compass). Low-gloss Granite Crystal accents; exclusive 80th Anniversary commemorative badge, and full LED pack are some of the main features of this special edition models. The 80th anniversary also marks the return of the Jeep brand to the pickup segment. The new Jeep Gladiator (pictured above) is a 100% pickup and is available in Italy in an Overland version and, in the launch phase, in the exclusive Launch Edition. Power comes from a 3.0-liter Multijet V6 264 HP engine (600 Nm of torque, Euro 6D-final approved) fore great performance, power and flexibility. The configuration is the traditional American double cabin ome, with 153 cm steel body. Gladiator is the best performing Jeep pickup ever and able to satisfy the most active lifestyles. Stabdard equipment includes a front camera for safe on-road and off-road driving.
