Fino alla porta dei Monti Sibillini
PEDASO, CAMPOFILONE, MORESCO, MOTERUBBIANO, PETRITOLI, AMANDOLA, PORTO SAN GIORGIO, PEDASO Da Pedaso, sulla costa, raggiungiamo CAMPOFILONE, nota per i suoi maccheroncini. Imboccata la fascinosa Val d’Aso, arriviamo a Moresco, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia. A poche pedalate c’è MONTERUBBIANO, antichissima ed elevata cittadina picena. Percorrendo il crinale ecco Petritoli, con l’elegante teatro dell’Iride, poi la pedalata prosegue per colline e altri borghi fino a raggiungere AMANDOLA, la Porta dei Sibillini. Vicino c’è l’Abbazia dei Ss. Ruffino e Vitale, stupenda: vale la pena di un ultimo sforzo. Per un giorno può bastare! Il ritorno sulle strade di valle fino a Porto San Giorgio e Pedaso.
UP TO THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS

Entering the fascinating Val d’Aso, we arrive at MORESCO, a beautiful village. A little further there is Monterubbiano, an ancient town of Picene era. Along the ridge we find Petritoli, with the elegant Teatro dell’Iride, then our route proceeds through the hills and other villages until we get to AMANDOLA, the door of the Sibillini Mountains. Nearby there is the wonderful Abbey of Ss. Ruffino and Vitale: it is worth a last effort. For one day it may be enough! Let’s ride along the valley roads heading towards Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso.
