HOTEL DES BAINS, VENEZIA

Il Des Bains al Lido di Venezia fu progettato in un sobrio stile Liberty dai fratelli Raffaello e Francesco Marsich. Inaugurato nel 1900, è "coprotagonista" di Morte a Venezia (1971) celebre film di Luchino Visconti tratto da un racconto lungo di Thomas Mann e interpretato da Dirk Bogarde.

The Des Bains at Lido, Venice, was designed in a sober Liberty style by brothers Raffaello and Francesco Marsich. Inaugurated in 1900, it is the "co-protagonist" of Death in Venice (1971), a famous film by Luchino Visconti based on a long story by Thomas Mann and starring Dirk Bogarde.
