SSe volete assistere alla fioritura delle orchidee selvatiche e vedere la rara aquila reale, il Parco dei Monti Sibillini è il posto per voi. È lì che crescono distese di fiori spontanei di tutti i colori e i rapaci vengono a deporre le uova. Non è un caso. Il parco è un esempio virtuoso di rispetto ambientale, riconosciuto da Europarc Federation che lo ha incluso nella Carta europea per il turismo sostenibile. Fondato nel 1993, racchiude una superficie di 70 mila km quadrati tra Marche e Umbria, e comprende 20 vette che superano i 2000 metri fino al Monte Vettore, il più alto a 2476 metri. Dopo il terremoto del 2016, istituzioni e persone si sono rimboccate le maniche per tornare alla normalità prima possibile. Infatti, sono state ricostruite le strade di accesso. Hanno riaperto gli impianti sciistici di Bolognola e Sarnano. Gli chef sono tornati nei loro ristoranti e molti agriturismi e fattorie non hanno mai chiuso. Oggi, più dell’80% dei sentieri sono stati ripristinati e il parco, più forte di prima, è pronto per pedalate, trekking, voli in deltaplano emozionanti. And this is not by chance. The park is a virtuous example of environmental respect, recognized by the Europarc Federation which included it in the European Charter for sustainable tourism. Founded in 1993, it encompasses an area of 70 thousand square km between Marche and Umbria and includes 20 peaks that exceed 2000 meters including Mount Vettore, the highest one with its 2476 meters. After the 2016 earthquake, institutions and people rolled up their sleeves to get back to normal as soon as possible: access roads have been rebuilt; Bolognola and Sarnano ski resorts have reopened; chefs have come back to their restaurants and many farmhouses and farms have never closed. Today, more than 80% of the trails have been restored and the park, stronger than before, is ready for cycling, trekking, exciting hang-gliding flights. In the refuges you will taste the best tagliatelle with wild boar sauce of your life, and even those sprinkled with fine black truffle are no joke. Meals are always abundant if we think of the mountain people and peasants of the past and are also necessary to face sport challenges. We are talking about three rings for mountain biking, gravel biking and more demanding adventures that go up and down the 13 municipalities of the massif, including the Grande Anello dei Sibillini.
