Musica e memoria un’estate a tutto beat

ATesto di Francesca Navari ppassionati e nostalgici fatevi trovare pronti. A Villa Bertelli c’è un’estate-amarcord sul filo del... beat. Il cartellone estivo riserva infatti un particolare omaggio ai cinquant’anni di quello che è stato un movimento di ritmo, arte e moda coinvolgente e innovativo. Attesi molti degli interpreti e delle band che hanno caratterizzato le colonne sonore di intere generazioni. Venti gli appuntamenti tra luglio e agosto, per un programma che il presidente della Fondazione Villa Bertelli Carlo Fontana definisce «ambizioso, con un giusto mix di pop, tradizione e melodie italiane, e con un pizzico di comicità», tutto da godere nel teatro all’aperto da quasi millecinquecento posti che nelle ultime stagioni ha registrato un numero crescente di spettatori. L’omaggio al beat inizia l’11 luglio con Riccardo Fogli che propone il repertorio personale e quello dei Pooh. Il 18 luglio concerto-evento doppio con I Camaleonti e i Dik Dik, insieme, per rispolverare cavalli di battaglia che sono ancora nella memoria collettiva. Il 25 luglio a salire sul palco è Fausto Leali, mentre l’1 agosto è la volta di Maurizio Vandelli dell’Equipe 84 con il suo “Mi ritorni in mente Tour”. Si prosegue il 2 agosto con un’altra mitica band, I Cugini di Campagna, mentre il 7 agosto attesissima la performance di Francesco Renga, vincitore di Sanremo e amatissimo dai giovani con il record di diciotto milioni di visualizzazioni su Youtube grazie ad una collezione di cover di pezzi d’antan. Ancora un prestigioso ritorno al passato l’8 agosto con I Nomadi. Il giorno successivo a Villa Bertelli arriva invece il primo dei due comici previsti: Andrea Perroni di Zelig. Il cartellone prosegue il 10 agosto con Michele Zarrillo, l’11 con Pupo, il 12 con un recital lirico dell’Accademia della Scala di Milano (già presente il 17 luglio con un concerto di ottoni). Il 13 agosto spazio alla giovanissima band napoletana The Kolors, recente trionfatrice di Amici. Il giorno successivo Gaetano Triggiano con il suo atteso spettacolo di illusionismo. Dal 16 agosto si torna alla musica con la PFM e, il 17, con lo stile e l’eleganza della grande Fiorella Mannoia, mentre il 20 si ride con il cabarettista Andrea Pucci. Chiudono il fitto programma il cantautore fiorentino Marco Masini il 21 agosto e Renzo Arbore con l’Orchestra Italiana il giorno seguente. Finale all’insegna dell’umorismo locale con la compagnia dialettale “Versiglia in bocca” che il 23 agosto mette in scena «Storie d’amore, di corne e di coltelli». (Francesca Navari)

MUSIC AND MEMORIES: THE BEAT GOES ON

At the Villa Bertelli open-air theater, a playbill of melodies and reminiscences Aficionados and sentimentalists – are you ready? Villa Bertelli promises an amarcord summer, a special tribute to the beat that fifty years ago set the tempo for an intriguing and innovative movement in rhythm, art, and fashion. We’ll be enjoying appearances by many of the artists and the bands that wrote the soundtracks of entire generations, with eighteen confirmed evenings (and two more that are still top secret at the date of publication) in July and August, for a program that Fondazione Villa Bertelli president Carlo Fontana defines as “ambitious, with just the right mix of pop, tradition, and Italian melodies – and a pinch of comedy.” All at the nearly-1,500 seat theater in the villa park – in recent seasons, an increasingly popular venue. The celebration of the beat starts on 11 July with Riccardo Fogli and songs from his own and the Pooh’s repertoire. A week later, on 18 July, a double concert-event with I Camaleonti and the Dik Dik, together, to dust off those golden records we all remember. On 25 July, it’s Fausto Leali under the kleigs, and on the first of August, Maurizio Vandelli of Equipe 84 steps up to recap Italian pop music history with his Mi Ritorni in Mente Tour. The next evening (2 August), another mythical band – I Cugini di Campagna – and on 7 August the eagerly-awaited performance by Sanremo winner Francesco Renga, idol of the younger set with a record 18 million YouTube views for his collection of covers of songs of yesteryear. Another illustrious “blast from the past” on 8 August, with I Nomadi. The accent shifts on the 9th, with the arrival of the first of the two stand-up comedians on the playbill: Andrea Perroni of Zelig, just in from a standing-room-only stint at Rome’s Teatro Sistina. Music is back with Michele Zarrillo on the 10th and Pupo on the 11th; then, on the 12th, a changeof-pace recital by the lyric artists of Milan’s Accademia della Scala di Milano (after the brass concert on 17 July). August 16th is the date for the PFM and the 17th, for the style and elegance of the great Fiorella Mannoia. Comedy returns on 20 August with cabaret artist Andrea Pucci.
