Un percorso monumentale per riflettere sulla ricerca del tempo e delle origini

PRESENZA STABILE a Pietrasanta nella galleria di via del Marzocco, Andrea Roggi prosegue il suo viaggio di ricerca costituito da opere monumentali in bronzo. Dopo il grande successo della mostra “Terra Mater” lungo le mura della città di Lucca dello scorso anno, l’artista propone la sua riflessione anche a Forte dei Marmi. In un percorso espositivo che si snoda da piazza Dante lungo via Mazzini e via Carducci, Roggi accompagna i visitatori attraverso la ricerca del tempo e delle origini. Otto sculture monumentali si stagliano nello spazio urbano di Forte dei Marmi per ricordarci il mistero della vita e lo scorrere inesorabile del tempo e la necessità di ricreare un legame con la terra, Madre per eccellenza. Una mostra, quella di Andrea Roggi, che in questo momento assume un significato particolare. Da un lato diventa simbolo di rinascita e nuova speranza per tutto il mondo dell’arte, dall’altro ci invita ancor di più a collocare la percezione del tempo nella giusta dimensione individuale. La recente crisi pandemica ci ha consegnato un tempo sospeso, quasi dilatato e del quale abbiamo colto la lentezza; la valorizzazione del tempo, allora, diventa per Roggi una riflessione più alta che deve spingerci ancor di più ad apprezzarne l’essenza, ad esserne consapevoli. E le sue sculture rispondono pienamente a questa consapevolezza. Ogni opera va assaporata lentamente e di ciascuna c’è sempre una duplice lettura: quella immediata, la suggestione che le forme affidano al primo sguardo, e quella più profonda, quando l’occhio si sofferma sul particolare per immergersi nel profondo, alla radice del significato. Proviamo a trovarlo, quel significato, camminando a Forte dei Marmi attraverso le sue sculture.

AT THE ROOTS OF REBIRTH | a monumental walk through Forte dei Marmi in search of time and the origins of things | A fixture in Pietrasanta at his gallery in Via del Marzocco, Andrea Roggi now continues his research, expressed in monumental bronze, in Forte dei Marmi. After the success of last year’s Terra Mater exhibition on the Lucca city walls, he is now accompanying visitors along an exhibition path running from Piazza Dante along Via Mazzini and Via Carducci, through his inquiries into time and the origins of all things. Eight huge sculptures in Forte’s urban space remind us of the mystery of life and time’s inexorable flow – and how urgent it is that we mend the fabric of our ties with our Mother Earth. At this peculiar moment in time, Roggi’s exhibition takes on special significance: on the one hand, it is a symbol of rebirth and renewed hope for the entire world of art; on the other, it invites us to position, as never before, our perception of time in its correct, individual dimension. The pandemic gave us suspended, floating time, time almost dilated, time whose slowness we could perceive. By valorizing that time, Roggi shifts his reflection to a higher plane; if it is to have value, it must stimulate us to more fully appreciate time’s essence, to remain aware of its passage. His sculptures reflect and communicate his awareness of this need. Each of the works ought to be savored, slowly, and each, always, admits of a possible double reading: the immediate impression, handed us by the forms when we first scan them, and a deeper apprecia

tion conveyed when the scan catches on a detail and then sinks into the depths of the form to touch the roots of the work, its meaning. Meanings, dimensions that emerge as we stroll through Forte dei Marmi past Roggi’s sculptures on a journey in search of time.

После большого успеха выставки “Terra Mater”, прошедшей у крепостных стен Лукки в прошлом году, артист предлагает маршрут своей интерпретации темы в Форте дей Марми. В экспозиционной программе, которая берёт начало на площади Данте вдоль улиц Мадзини и Кардуччи, Роджи сопровождает публику примерами познания времени и истоков. Восемь монументальных скульптур вырисовываются в городском пространстве Форте дей Марми, напоминая нам о тайне жизни и безудержном течении времени, в котором мы нуждаемся, чтобы главным образом вернуться к тесной связи с нашим началом – Матерью Землёй. С одной стороны, выставка Андреа Роджи в этот период являет собой символ возрождения и появления новой

надежды для всего мира искусства; с другой, она приглашает нас ещё больше определить восприятие времени в правильном русле для каждого из нас. Недавний пандемический кризис поместил человечество в условия застывшего времени, медленное течение которого заметили все; донести в таком случае его ценность становится для Роджи ещё более сильным стимулом, который должен отразиться на нас желанием дорожить им и помнить о его эфемерности. Работы Роджи полностью отвечают этой иллюзорности. Каждое произведение приглашает нас ко вдумчивому анализу, но каждое из них можно прочитать в двойном ключе: в первом случае сразу охватив взглядом очарование композиции в едином контексте, во втором же, остановившись на деталях, ведущих нас к истокам смысла. Каждому из нас станет полезным найти этот смысл в призыве Роджи, гуляя по улицам Форте дей Марми.
