«Abbiamo da poco completato il restyling delle nostre più importanti attrezzature», spiega Davide Tita, direttore della Spa. «Sauna, bagno di vapore, stanza del ghiaccio e docce emozionali sono stati completamente rinnovati, per offrire ai nostri clienti la migliore esperienza di wellness».
E i clienti di Egoista, è importante sottolinearlo, non sono solo gli ospiti dell’hotel. La Spa, una delle più ampie e attrezzate della Toscana, è infatti aperta al pubblico: a chi vive o lavora in zona, agli habitué di Forte dei Marmi, a chi viene a trascorrere una vacanza o un week end.
«L’ideale, per avere il massimo dei benefici, è naturalmente la frequenza costante: chi può ritagliarsi uno spazio, una o più volte alla settimana, per venire a trovarci, ha la possibilità di impostare un percorso completo, che può includere anche l’attività in palestra, con un personal trainer, oppure lo yoga», aggiunge Tita. «Ma si può anche vivere l’esperienza come una parentesi: un’ora o due, o una mezza giornata, dedicate a se stessi, magari abbinando ad attività e trattamenti un pasto o uno spuntino studiati appositamente per i frequentatori di Egoista dal nostro meraviglioso chef Valentino Cassanelli». I trattamenti sono selezionati tra il top di gamma a livello internazionale, primo tra tutti il brand Bakel, che attraverso un’analisi scientifica della pelle per valutare aspetti quali il fototipo, il livello di idratazione e la profondità delle rughe, consente di individuare e adottare i prodotti e i trattamenti più efficaci per ciascuno. Si aggiungono poi la linea Natura Bissé ed esclusivi trattamenti come il massaggio Shirodara, di origine indiana, che utilizza un leggero flusso di olio di sesamo tiepido sulla fronte.

“We have recently completed the restyling of our most important facilities,” reveals Davide Tita, Spa director. “Sauna, steam bath, ice room, and multi-sensory showers have been completely renovated to offer our clients the best wellness experience.”
Not just hotel guests, but Egoista’s clients – important to note – can be those who live or work in the area, habitués of Forte dei Marmi, and those who come for a vacation or a weekend getaway. In fact, the Spa, one of the largest and best-equipped in Tuscany, is open to the public.
“Constant attendance is – needless to say – ideal to get the maximum benefits: if you can carve out some time for yourself, once or several times a week, you can come and have the opportunity to set up a well-rounded path, which can also include gym activity, with a personal trainer, or practice yoga,” adds Tita. “But you can also savor the experience as an interlude: an hour or two, or half-day devoted to yourself, perhaps combining activities and treatments with a meal or snack designed especially for Egoista patrons by our wonderful chef Valentino Cassanelli.”
Internationally upper echelon treatments are selected; first and foremost is the Bakel brand, which carries out a scientific analysis of the skin to assess aspects such as phototype, hydration level, and depth of the wrinkles. This allows to identify and adopt the most effective products and treatments for everyone. The Natura Bissé line as well as exclusive treatments are also available, such as the Shirodara massage, of Indian origin, which uses a gentle stream of warm sesame oil on the forehead.
