PHOTOGRAPHS OF A LIFE
Throughout his long artistic career, renowned photographer Ferdinando Scianna has focussed on different themes: current events, war, travel, religion and even fashion, all linked by a single thread – the constant search for form in the chaos of life. This major retrospective features portraits of several of his dearest friends including Leonardo Sciascia, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Jorge Luis Borges, and traces 50 years of stories and reportage by the photographer, who is a member of Magnum Photos. This must-see exhibition of 200 black and white photographs explores the career of the influential Sicilian.
