The Vasari Corridor.

Cosimo I tottered from Palazzo Pitti to work in the Palazzo Vecchio along this hidden, snaking corridor built for him in 1565. It now contains the Medici’s unique collection of artists’ self-portraits from great masters to modern whippersnappers like Chagall.
