Start in Campo S. Moisé, with your back to the glorious façade of San Moisé church, facing the gondolas, with L’hotel Bauer and B-bar (see Bars) on the left for tipples later. Go over the bridge in front of you onto the main drag Via XXII Marzo and right is Ma.re at #2088 / 041 5231191 / call ahead / mareglass.com / for the big names in glass and stemware. Heading away from the gondolas, coming up on the right is elegant, Film Fest-friendly bada-bling at #2031 Pomellato / 041 5231909 / pomellato.com; then the lovely, nautical-inspired candle-lit cabin La Caravella (see Restaurant­s/smart). Lace and linen heaven Jesurum is at #2401 (see Advanced Shopping); with Venetia Studium at #2425 / 041 5236953 / showcasing soft velvet cushions, silk foulards and Fortuny-style lamps; and label Mabel magnet La Coupole Donna at #2414 / 041 2960555, and its male counterpar­t La Coupole Uomo opp. at #2366 / 041 5224243. Follow the street left into Calle delle Ostreghe, then make a right and over the bridge for Angela e Rosa Greco on the right at #2433 / 041 5234573 / full of classic lamps to go or to order. Continue just next door at #2434, where lingerie lovers shouldn’t miss the demure, ultra-femme MTM and off-the-rack slips from sassy Cristina Linassi (see Adv. Shopping). Opposite is Il Prato at #2456 / 041 5231148 / all manner of paper prods and fab contempo leather desk stationery. Skedaddle out into Campo S. Maria Zobenigo, where sumptuous velvets await at Bevilacqua on the right (see Textiles) and across the square is Gritti Palace with Bar Longhi (see Bars). Exit Bevilacqua right then right again into little Calle del Piovan for Galleria Traghetto at #2543 (see Art). Retrace to face the square and turn right, keeping right over the bridge. March straight on and skip over another bridge into Calle Zaguri.
