DECALOGO DELLA SOSTENIBILITÀ DELLE PASSEGGIATE: 1- Meglio una destinazione vicina. Roma, il Lazio, la costa e le dimore storiche sono luoghi da scoprire, lontani dai flussi turistici. 2 - Spostamenti e viaggi in bassa stagione. Evitare spostamenti e viaggi in alta stagione. Meglio pianificarli in bassa e in media stagione.
3 - Vicinanza con la natura e il mare. Gli spazi verdi di Roma e molte dimore storiche dell’ADSI sono dislocate nelle campagne, preservando il paesaggio dall’avanzata dell’edilizia.
4 - Meglio a piedi o elettrico. Evitare l’auto; meglio a piedi, in bicicletta, mezzi elettrici (le golf cart di My Best Tour). 5 - Rispetto di limitazioni e regolamenti. Rispettare i regolamenti imposti dalle autorità locali, così come botteghe e dimore storiche sono tutte sottoposte a vincoli ministeriali.
6- Non lasciare tracce. Non gettare rifiuti in strada e, per la cura personale, meglio prodotti che non danneggiano l’ambiente. 7- Ri-utilizzare. Evitare eccessi di usa-e-getta, il lavaggio frequente (non delle mani); meglio ri-utilizzare certi beni di consumo. 8- Evitare la plastica. Evitare prodotti monouso e ridurre confezioni e imballaggi. L’acqua si può bere dalle fontanelle pubbliche, con le nostre borracce “eco-sostenibili” offerte da Zetema. 9- Preferire prodotti locali. Consumare preferibilmente prodotti locali, presso esercizi artigianali. Le nostre Passeggiate segnalano tutti i punti-vendita dell’Associazione Botteghe Storiche di Roma. 10 - Adottare una alimentazione sostenibile. Orientarsi verso una alimentazione, e un abbigliamento, sostenibile ed equo solidale, che eviti lo sfruttamento intensivo degli animali.
11 - Cambiare, in conclusione, il proprio ritmo di vita. L’emergenza Covid-19 ci ha consigliato un ritmo di vita più lento. Le nostre Passeggiate esperienziali lo rispettano. (G. R.)
DECALOGUE OF THE SUSTAINABILITY OF WALKS:
1 – A nearby destination is preferable. Rome, Lazio, its coast and the historic houses are partly unexplored places, to be discovered and off the beaten tourist track.
2 - Travelling and day trips in off-peak season. Avoid travelling in high season. It’s better to plan trips in low and mid-season.
3 - Proximity to nature and the sea. The green spaces of Rome and the many historic houses of ADSI are located in the countryside, preserving the landscape from advancing construction.
4 - Better on foot or electric. Avoid travelling by car and get around on foot, by bike, by electric means or with My Best Tour golf carts.
5 - Compliance with limitations and regulations. Comply with regulations imposed by local authorities. Shops, boutiques and historic mansions are all subject to ministerial constraints. 6- Leave no waste. Do not throw litter onto the street and, for your personal care, choose products that do not harm the environment.
7 - Re-use. Avoid using disposable products excessively, frequent washing when unnecessary (except your hands), and it is better to re-use goods.
8- Avoid plastic. Avoid single-use products and reduce packaging and plastic wrapping. Water is drinkable from public fountains. You can fill our water bottles offered by Zetema.
9- Prefer local products. Consume preferably local products, at craft or self-produced establishments. Our Walks show all outlets of the Association of Historical Shops of Rome.
10 - Adopt sustainable nutrition. Choose sustainable and fair-trade food and clothing, and avoids the intensive exploitation of animals. 11 – In short, change your own pace of life. The Covid-19 emergency has shown us a slower pace of life. Our Experiential Walks respect that. (G. R.)
