Sun­deck Ya­ch­ts sports a con­si­de­ra­ble ran­ge of mo­tor ya­ch­ts whi­ch starts wi­th a 45 foo­ter up to the flag­ship an 85’ all dra­wn up by Zuc­che­ri De­si­gn Stu­dio. Sun­deck has re­cen­tly de­ci­ded to en­lar­ge its of­fer in the su­pe­rya­cht sec­tor wi­th a new 38 me­tre mo­del de­si­gned wi­th na­val en­gi­neer An­drea Ra­ma­sco and Pie­lui­gi Au­so­nio’s con­tri­bu­tion. The yacht will be built in steel and alu­mi­nium al­loy but will per­pe­tua­te the fa­mi­ly fee­ling of pre­vious fi­bre­glass mo­dels whi­le fea­tu­ring ex­tra spa­ce by com­pa­ri­son, in whi­ch to stock mo­re ship sto­res and mo­re wa­ter toys for eve­ryo­ne’s amu­se­ment. Pier­lui­gi Au­so­nio drew up the hull so that it can take on any ocean in­clu­ding the Arc­tic Cir­cle, whi­le the alu­mi­nium and car­bon fi­bre su­per­struc­tu­re sa­ves weight and al­so al­lo­ws for a lo­wer cen­tre of gra­vi­ty abo­ve the wa­ter­li­ne whi­ch trans­la­tes in­to bet­ter sea kee­ping qua­li­ties, sta­bi­li­ty, fuel con­sump­tion and la­st but not lea­st per­for­man­ce. The in­te­rior lay­out can com­pri­se up to six ca­bins when de­ployed for char­ter par­ties, whi­le the ow­ner ver­sion is ma­de up of four / fi­ve ca­bins. In the fir­st ca­se the dou­ble ca­bins are four along the lo­wer deck, whi­le a VIP is si­tua­ted in the bow area of the main deck, and the six­th the ow­ner’s is along the up­per deck.the crew ca­bins are four plus a fif­th de­di­ca­ted to the cap­tain.the de­cor of the char­ter ver­sion is con­tem­po­ra­ry and al­mo­st mi­ni­ma­li­st and mu­ch of the lion’s share is ta­ken up by the ci­ne­ma room. In fact in this con­fi­gu­ra­tion the yacht has been con­cei­ved to un­der­go long hauls and has been set up, the­re­fo­re wi­th se­ve­ral con­ve­nient loun­ges and ap­pro­pria­te com­for­ta­ble areas in whi­ch to re­lax, in day ti­me hours. Ac­crued ef­fi­cient sta­bi­li­ty is not on­ly ob­tai­ned from Sea­kee­per gy­ro­sco­pes, but al­so by sta­bi­li­sing fins.
