Sundeck Yachts sports a considerable range of motor yachts which starts with a 45 footer up to the flagship an 85’ all drawn up by Zuccheri Design Studio. Sundeck has recently decided to enlarge its offer in the superyacht sector with a new 38 metre model designed with naval engineer Andrea Ramasco and Pieluigi Ausonio’s contribution. The yacht will be built in steel and aluminium alloy but will perpetuate the family feeling of previous fibreglass models while featuring extra space by comparison, in which to stock more ship stores and more water toys for everyone’s amusement. Pierluigi Ausonio drew up the hull so that it can take on any ocean including the Arctic Circle, while the aluminium and carbon fibre superstructure saves weight and also allows for a lower centre of gravity above the waterline which translates into better sea keeping qualities, stability, fuel consumption and last but not least performance. The interior layout can comprise up to six cabins when deployed for charter parties, while the owner version is made up of four / five cabins. In the first case the double cabins are four along the lower deck, while a VIP is situated in the bow area of the main deck, and the sixth the owner’s is along the upper deck.the crew cabins are four plus a fifth dedicated to the captain.the decor of the charter version is contemporary and almost minimalist and much of the lion’s share is taken up by the cinema room. In fact in this configuration the yacht has been conceived to undergo long hauls and has been set up, therefore with several convenient lounges and appropriate comfortable areas in which to relax, in day time hours. Accrued efficient stability is not only obtained from Seakeeper gyroscopes, but also by stabilising fins.
