Ly­nx Ya­ch­ts, Ome­ga Ar­chi­tec­ts and Van Oos­sa­nen Na­val Ar­chi­tec­ts ha­ve poo­led their crea­ti­ve re­sour­ces to­ge­ther to draw up pro­ject de­si­gn work for LOV 38 whe­re LOV re­pre­sen­ts the fir­st let­ters of ea­ch of the th­ree com­pa­nies na­mes wor­king to­ge­ther on the pro­ject. In re­la­tion­ship to what has been pro­po­sed so far, Lynz Ya­ch­ts has mo­ved away from being a sup­ply ves­sels’ buil­ding shi­pyard wi­th fan­cy de­si­gns crea­ted to en­du­re long crui­ses in ut­ter com­fort. In fact the FDHF (Fa­st Di­spla­ce­ment Hull Form) by Van Oos­sa­nen, spe­cial­ly de­ve­lo­ped to gua­ran­tee a hi­gh le­vel of com­fort wi­thin a wi­de ran­ge of di­ver­se speeds, from di­spla­cing to pla­ning ones, is en­do­wed wi­th su­ch no­ta­ble ef­fi­cien­cy whi­ch gua­ran­tees 20 to 30% less drag thus re­du­cing fuel con­sump­tion no­ta­bly. LOV 38 fea­tu­res great fle­xi­bi­li­ty in terms of lay­out. For exam­ple her sun­deck can be equip­ped wi­th a Ja­cuz­zi or wi­th enor­mous sun pads or free­stan­ding fur­ni­tu­re. The in­te­riors are na­tu­ral­ly bright thanks to floor to cei­ling win­dow li­ke pa­nels.
