Lynx Yachts, Omega Architects and Van Oossanen Naval Architects have pooled their creative resources together to draw up project design work for LOV 38 where LOV represents the first letters of each of the three companies names working together on the project. In relationship to what has been proposed so far, Lynz Yachts has moved away from being a supply vessels’ building shipyard with fancy designs created to endure long cruises in utter comfort. In fact the FDHF (Fast Displacement Hull Form) by Van Oossanen, specially developed to guarantee a high level of comfort within a wide range of diverse speeds, from displacing to planing ones, is endowed with such notable efficiency which guarantees 20 to 30% less drag thus reducing fuel consumption notably. LOV 38 features great flexibility in terms of layout. For example her sundeck can be equipped with a Jacuzzi or with enormous sun pads or freestanding furniture. The interiors are naturally bright thanks to floor to ceiling window like panels.
