CERTOSA DI SAN GIACOMO. The oldest historical building on the island (1371). First a convent, then a prison and now home to the Diefenbach Museum and various summer cultural events. VILLA SAN MICHELE. It was the house of the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe.
