Debuting in 2018, the Pershing 140 is the high-performance yard’s first aluminium alloy craft. A joint effort between the yard’s Product Strategy Committee, the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and architect Fulvio De Simoni, it will not merely be the new flagship but also the first Pershing to build in the Group’s Ancona facility which specialises in steel and aluminium superyachts of over 40 metres. Its profile showcases several different design elements, some new and others borrowed from the brand’s recent models (the superstructure side wings are a good example). Four 2,600 hp MTU M94s will deliver 38 knots at full throttle too. È previsto per il 2018 il debutto del Pershing 140, il primo yacht in lega leggera del marchio famoso per le prestazioni delle sue imbarcazioni. Frutto della collaborazione fra Comitato Strategico di Prodotto, Dipartimento Engineering Ferretti Group e Fulvio De Simoni, il 140 sarà, oltre che l’ammiraglia del cantiere, anche il primo Pershing realizzato negli stabilimenti di Ancona del Gruppo, specializzati nella costruzione di super e mega yacht in acciaio e alluminio oltre i 40 metri. Il profilo del Pershing 140 è arricchito da diversi elementi di design, alcuni inediti, altri che fanno parte del family feeling dei modelli più recenti del brand. Un esempio: le ali laterali integrate alla sovrastruttura e agganciate in falchetta all’inizio dei camminamenti. Con quattro MTU M94 da 2.600 Hp ciascuno la velocità massima prevista è di 38 nodi.
