“The New Ypsilon Mya. It has to be yours” is the tagline that launched this gorgeous car into the women’s motoring world together. A zippy ad featuring the lovely Kasia Smutniak did the rest. Standing out from the crowd thanks to cleverly selected colours and a mind-boggling choice of optionals, the Mya is one of the coolest versions of a city car that has sold to the tune of three million over the last 22 years. The Mya comes in a choice of two livery colours: the standard version is the pastel Grigio Ardesia while the triple-layer Grigio Lunare is optional. Both come with chrome exterior detailing, the Mya logo on the hatch and rear wheel rims, and brushed finishes for a very modern appeal. The cabin is gorgeous too trimmed in the elegant navy Alcantara® that has become a Lancia signature alternating with an unusual denim-look print fabric that is both chic and youthful at once. The list of optionals is impressive to say the least: aside from tinted rear windows and 16” diamond-finish black alloy wheels, there is also the Uconnect Radio LIVE system with 5” touchscreen which, amongst other things, offers Bluetooth cell phone connection. Naturally enough, air conditioning is in there too. Safety has been given equal status with elegance too as four air bags are offered as standard as is ESC (electronic stability control) complete with Hill Holder for easier hill starts and rear parking sensors. The Lancia Ypsilon Mya is also available with a choice of four different engines, including two hybrids, ranging in output from 69 to 95 bhp: petrol/ LPG and petrol/methane because women love the environment they live in.
“Nuova Ypsilon Mya. Non può essere che tua”. È questo il claim che, supportato dallo spot con la bellissima Kasia Smutniak, ha lanciato la Lancia Ypsilon Mya nell’universo dell’automobilismo al femminile.
Caratterizzata da un’attenta selezione cromatica e da un incredibile numero di optional, la Mya è una delle versioni più cool tra quelle proposte per questa city car che, nei suoi 22 anni di vita, ha sfiorato i tre milioni di esemplari venduti.
Mya è proposta in due tinte di carrozzeria: il pastello Grigio Ardesia, di serie; e il tristrato Grigio Lunare, a richiesta. Su entrambe spiccano i dettagli esterni cromati, il logo Mya sul portellone e sui passaruote posteriori e le finiture satinate che le donano un aspetto moderno.
Bellissimi gli interni che alternano l’elegante Alcantara® Blu, tipico delle vetture Lancia, a un insolito tessuto stampato a effetto Denim, elegante e giovane al tempo stesso.
La lista degli optional è impressionante: oltre ai vetri posteriori oscurati e ai cerchi in lega da 16” nero lucido a effetto diamantato, la Mya prevede anche il sistema Uconnect Radio LIVE con schermo touch da 5” che, tra le altre cose, consente di connettere il cellulare via Bluetooth; e naturalmente il climatizzatore. Ma poiché la sicurezza non è seconda all’eleganza, a bordo sono di serie anche quattro air bag; l’ESC (il controllo elettronico della stabilità) con Hill Holder (un sistema che facilita la partenza in salita) e sensori di parcheggio posteriori.
La Lancia Ypsilon Mya è disponibile in quattro motorizzazioni, da 69 a 95 CV, due delle quali ibride: benzina/GPL e benzina/metano perché le donne, si sa, hanno a cuore l’ambiente in cui vivono.
