Sunseeker

Several years on from the last time Fabio Buzzi’s FB Design and Sunseeker worked together, they have returned in force with the Hawk 38, a high performance day boat that promises a searing out-of-the-box speed of 62 knots. The big news is the hull developed and patented by FB Design which has an anti-dive bow which guarantees optimal trim even at the highest of speeds. Also high on the interest list are the two inflatable Hypalon tubes on the topsides which improve stability and dampen roll and vibration, for a more comfortable, secure ride. Power comes via standard twin Mercury 400R outboards mated to Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort throttles. The deck layout includes a sunning area followed by a cockpit with table and seating in the bow. The control console features a Simrad navigation system and an Evo 3 touchscreen display with GPS and Wi-Fi.

A distanza di alcuni anni dall’ultimo progetto congiunto la FB Design di Fabio Buzzi e Sunseeker hanno unito ancora le forze per presentare l’Hawk 38 uno scafo dalla vocazione sportiva che promette una velocità di 62 nodi. Le principali novità riguardano la carena sviluppata e brevettata dalla FB Design e dotata di prua “anti-dive” la cui configurazione garantisce un assetto ottimale anche alle velocità più sostenute; e due inserti pneumatici esterni che ricordano i tubolari dei gommoni e che, posizionati a murata, accrescono la stabilità e riducono il rollio e le vibrazioni, a tutto vantaggio di comfort e sicurezza. La propulsione è data da una coppia di fuoribordo Mercury400R abbinati al sistema Mercury Racing Digital Zero. Il layout di coperta prevede un’area prendisole seguita da un pozzetto con tavolo e sedute nella sezione prodiera. La console di comando è equipaggiata con un sistema di navigazione Simrad che ruota attorno a un display touch-screen Evo 3 dotato di GPS e Wi-fi.
