A CORNER OF PEACE DEVOTED TO NATURE AND ART

-

The first element that strikes you, at Ser Casasandra, is the nature that surrounds it. Just follow the walkway to find yourself in an earthly paradise made of fine sand, white as snow, bathed by water so blue as to seem unreal. This is the hotel's private beach, to be experienced among romantic huts, lush vegetation and tropical birds fluttering all around. Not to mention the gardens, an explosion of green and fragrant flowers in which to relax, comfortably lying on a deckchair or swimming in the pool. Everything at Ser Casasandra speaks of nature, but also of art. Sandra Pérez Lozano is a

writer and an artist, and for her corner of peace she has studied a design that embraces the typical local style, but embellishes it. The luxury of the boutique hotel is expressed above all in the details: all the wood on the property is from Solferino, the furniture is by Patricia Urquiola, the crystals are from Bohemia, the linen is Indian, the antiques come from various parts of the globe, while the wine cellar is full of only Mexican wines. The rooms are a true hymn to relaxation, all equipped with hammock to relax, but without T V or telephone to sug gest a true detox stay. And then there's the art, which permeates every space at Ser

Casasandra. The owner has filled the walls displaying works by artisans from around the world and works made by herself and artist friends from her two homelands, Cuba and Mexico. The boutique hotel tells the story of art as a way of life, and does so also with music, always present but in a delicate, almost imperceptible way, a background that makes the Ser Casasandra even more "home".
