The Florentine interior designer Antonio Lionetti chooses a palette of soft but warm colours to create an eclectic atmosphere

The Pisan hills border the last stretch of the Arno River, accompanying it to the estuary, and when the wind starts

blowing, you can smell the sea. And it is in this enchanting place that a couple of entrepreneurs from the area decided to establish this pleasant retreat, entrusting the interior design to the Florentine interior designer Antonio Lionetti. The villa of about 400 square meters is spread over three levels and is part of a splendid garden which houses a spectacular swimming pool overlooking the valley. On the ground floor there is the area dedicated to the spa. On the intermediate floor, the living area has been conceived as a single articulated space comprising three areas: dining room, living room and fireplace. Upstairs is the sleeping area with three en-suite bedrooms. The owners, says Antonio Lionetti, had a definite idea of what the mood of the house should be, that is, an eclectic atmosphere that would bestow the glamor suitable for a couple who is in the fashion business and who aims to transform their residence into a trademark. For this, Lionetti continues, I chose an almost monochromatic colour palette that revolves around ecru, beige, taupe, with black inserts and details, which emphasize each other.
