Going more and more global: ISKO I-SKOOL™, the leading contest dedicated to denim, in its third edition will feature new schools from all over the world as well as a bigger number of partners that have chosen to embrace the cause, supporting young talents and helping them take their first steps in a fascinatin­g world like that of denim.

The path that the contest, organized by leading denim producer ISKO™ alongside with CREATIVE ROOM™ (its special division focused on research), has set with the first two editions has been a great success, and now companies such as Avery Dennison RBIS, Mavi and Archroma are in to assist the young talents in developing their projects for the contest. While some key technical partners such as Tonello laundry and C&S garment maker will help CREATIVE ROOM™ in setting up the denim seminars through which the students will get a deeper understand­ing of the various production stages, Avery Dennison RBIS will ask the young talents to put themselves to the test, envisaging, for their denim creations, a whole communicat­ion set and packaging. Moreover, key players will be partners of the contest: Ralph Lauren, Replay, Swarovski, Haikure and also Mavi, that will be dealing in particular with the activewear proposals for “Athleisure”, one of Denim Design Award’s three themes alongside “Renovated Denim Icons”, dedicated to classic denim, and “Jool”, a new theme through which denim meets wool thanks to the ISKO JOOL™ denim technology. In the award’s final phase, also Vogue Talents will have the honor to award a student with a special mention. The global value of ISKO I-SKOOL™ is proved by its figures. A case in point? The 50,000 young talents involved in the previous edition, but also the fact it fully embraces the world of denim: also the marketing students are involved in the contest with the “Denim Marketing Award”, under the patronage of the agency Menabò Group, that will ask them to envision a branding strategy capable of enhancing a denim collection, a product still unrivalled today in terms of its across-the-board quality and versatilit­y.

And what about tomorrow? Young talents will contribute to its success, coming from schools from all over the world: Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Finland, United States, China, Japan and Australia.
