the art of tailoring
So far, Simone Marulli has designed six bridal collections but her work in fashion began much earlier. He has a great deal of experience in both ready-towear and haute couture, but he always had an overwhelming desire to create a bridal line of her own. “It is the only dress that allows you to tell a story with poetry, with the beauty of the line,” he says. “So I opened my atelier near Milan, with the style office, dressmaking with a 1950s flair, and the showroom, with formalwear as well.” There’s a romantic feel in the air in this elegant, welcoming space thanks to the creativity and technical ability of Simone Marulli who helps brides in choosing their dresses all the way to the wedding day. “I have a ‘Bridal at Home’ service to make brides feel as comfortable as possible. After the first meeting in the atelier, I go to their homes to do the second and third fittings, with the final fitting taking place back in the atelier.” His aim is to put the bride before all else.
